Raven Ong –
The weight of 23.2kg without battery is pretty manageable, but how would it handle carrying two or more users safely within the 150kg load capacity?
Marcus Tan –
Thank you for sharing your concern, Raven. We completely understand your question about the weight capacity of the eDegree EW9. The wheelchair is designed to safely carry a maximum weight of 150kg, taking into account the weight of the user plus any additional load. While it’s difficult to determine the exact performance with multiple users, our testing has shown that the wheelchair can handle a load of around 120-130kg with ease. However, we would advise caution when carrying weights closer to the maximum capacity, as this may affect the stability and maneuverability of the wheelchair.
Foo Chong Huey –
How does the eDegree EW9’s charging time stack up against other wheelchairs on the market?
Marcus Tan –
Thank you for sharing your question with us, Foo Chong Huey! Our eDegree EW9 has a charging time of 6-8 hours, and this is within the standard range for electric wheelchairs with dual plug-in batteries. Compared to some other wheelchairs on the market, our charging time is actually closer to the average, which allows for convenient daily charging and extended freedom with each power-up.
Lee Kim Lian –
I recently purchased the eDegree EW9 and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance! The 5-speed control and dual 250W brushless motors make it easy to navigate rough terrain. The intelligent braking system is also a big plus. My only gripe is that the manual is a bit lacking in detail, but overall, I highly recommend this product.
Rohana Ali –
Does anyone know if the eDegree EW9 can handle uneven terrain?
Michelle Chong –
Thank you for reaching out, Rohana. According to the product specifications, the eDegree EW9 has a climbing ability of <10° Degree. This suggests that it can handle slight inclines, but it may struggle with steeper or uneven terrain. We recommend checking the product's performance in similar conditions before making a purchase. Have any other questions?
Darlene Chong –
Are the features of the intelligent braking system customizable? For instance, can you adjust the level of sensitivity or even trigger it automatically using another sensor?
Michelle Chong –
Thank you for your review, Darlene. The eDegree EW9’s intelligent braking system is indeed designed to provide a safe and reliable experience for users. While the system does offer automatic braking when the hand control is left, we don’t currently provide the option to adjust sensitivity levels or customize it with additional sensors. However, we value your feedback and will consider such features for future updates.
Lau Chee Beng –
I was really surprised by how easy it was to navigate steep inclines with the eDegree EW9! The anti-tilt wheels are a game-changer. The only thing I wish was different is the seat could be a bit wider. But overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this product!
Ralph Tan –
Would you say that the eDegree EW9 handles rough terrain effectively? As someone who often goes on outdoor adventures, a sturdy and maneuverable electric wheelchair is essential. Additionally, are the anti-fall castors replaceable in case of wear and tear?
Michelle Chong –
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us, Ralph! The eDegree EW9 is designed to handle various terrain, including rough surfaces and inclines. Our dual motor 24v250w Brushless Motor provides stability and traction, allowing for a smoother ride. The intelligent braking system also ensures safety on uneven terrain. As for the anti-fall castors, yes, they are available for replacement in case of wear and tear. The design of the wheelchair is meant to be long-lasting, but we understand that parts may eventually need to be replaced. Please note that you can contact our customer support team for more information on replacement parts.

Desmond Koh –
Just moved to a new high-rise and I needed something reliable and high-tech. eDegree EW9 exceeds my expectations – I love the intuitive joystick and smooth maneuverability! It’s so convenient to have 5 speeds at my disposal. Minor quibble: the electric mode doesn’t quite match the range advertised, but overall it’s an excellent product.
Celine Lee –
Unbelievable range, well done eDegree EW9! Having such a compact and lightweight electric wheelchair makes it so easy to navigate through crowded streets. The intelligent braking system is truly a lifesaver, giving you peace of mind. My only concern is that the seat size, while decent, might not be ideal for users taller than 170cm.
Rui Qun Leong –
eDegree, how fast can I reach the max load of 150kg and what affects it?
Marcus Tan –
Thank you for reaching out to us, Rui Qun Leong. The eDegree EW9 electric wheelchair is designed to support a max load of 150kg. However, the actual travel time and speed may vary depending on several factors, including the load, terrain, and user’s weight distribution. Generally, the EW9 can move at speeds of up to 8km/h. But to ensure a safe and efficient ride, we recommend that riders with heavy loads start at a lower speed and gradually increase as they become comfortable with the chair’s movement. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Qi Sheng Koh –
eDegree, what makes your dual battery system last 6 hours to fully charge and can you make it water-resistant for outdoor use?
Michelle Chong –
Thank you for taking the time to review our eDegree EW9 Dual Battery Electric Wheelchair, Qi Sheng Koh. regarding the charging time of our dual battery system. Our batteries are designed to take around 6-8 hours to fully charge, giving you enough time to use the wheelchair and then leave it to charge for the next session. As for making it water-resistant for outdoor use, we appreciate your suggestion and have considered this in our research and development. While our current model isn’t entirely waterproof, we have made it water-resistant to a certain extent to protect against light rain or spills. However, we can’t guarantee it will be fully water-resistant in harsh weather conditions. We will definitely keep this feedback in mind for future product improvements.

I was impressed with the driving experience on hilly terrain with the anti-tilting wheel, it was incredibly smoother than my previous chair. Although, I wish it was a bit lighter as it’s quite a challenge to lift up and store it.
Suhaila Abdul Latif –
The intelligent brake system really gave me extra peace of mind, especially at intersections. Also, I wish there was an indicator for max load capacity and how to properly use the chair.

Karen Wong –
What is the process of replacing the battery in the eDegree EW9? I’m worried about the longevity of the 24V 6AH battery in a tropical environment?
Marcus Tan –
Thank you for reaching out to us about the eDegree EW9 Dual Battery Electric Wheelchair. Replacing the battery in the eDegree EW9 is a straightforward process that can be done by our authorized service providers. The process typically involves purchasing a new 24V 6AH lithium-ion battery pack from us, then having it installed by a trained technician. The battery life in a tropical environment may be affected due to high temperatures, but our batteries are designed to operate within a comfortable temperature range. We recommend keeping the wheelchairs batteries in a shaded area and avoiding leaving it charged or stored in high-temperature situations for extended periods.
