Can you guys tell me more about the battery life when not in use but plugged into a power source? Do I need to recharge while it’s in storage or just leave it to trickle charge?

Our battery is designed to be safely charged and stored, and we recommend keeping it plugged into a power source to maintain its health. When not in use, it’s best to keep the battery plugged in to a power source and not to fully discharge it. However, for long-term storage, we recommend fully charging and storing the battery in a cool, dry environment. It’s not necessary to trickle charge the battery while in storage, but make sure it’s at least 50% charged before storing it. Please refer to the user manual for more detailed information on battery care and maintenance.

I recently purchased Mobot Leader Electric Bicycle with External Battery and I’m thoroughly impressed! Easy to assemble and operate, the range is simply amazing. I ride about 30 kilometers a day on flat terrain and it barely dips below 20% battery level. However I got a scratch on the bike immediately after purchasing it at Ekoloife store. So its durability matters – hope it withstand some damages.
