Regarding adjusting the tension, I can understand how a loose fit might be a concern. While we don’t have an adjustable tension feature on this product, its design allows for some flexibility in fitting different brake lever sizes. If you find it too loose, you could try tightening the rubber slightly or using a slight adjustment to get a better grip. Cleaning-wise, it’s best to wipe down the product with a soft cloth and mild soap solution after each ride. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that might damage the silicone. For tougher grime, you can mix equal parts water and white vinegar in a bowl, then dip a soft cloth into the solution and gently scrub the area. Dry it thoroughly with a clean towel afterwards. As for using our product on a road bike, many of our customers have successfully used it on various types of bikes, including road bikes! It’s designed to be versatile and provide a secure grip in different riding conditions. If you’re planning to use it on your road bike, we recommend applying a small amount of silicone spray or lubricant to the lever before installation to ensure smooth movement.
