Personal Mobility Aid (PMA)
The electric personal mobility aid (PMA), includes mobility scooter and electric wheelchairs are advised for users with walking disability. As of 2024 LTA rules on PMA usage in Singapore, all Personal Mobility Aids (PMA) must comply with these requirements:
- Maximum motorised device speed of 10km/h
- Has only one seat & is designed to carry only one individual who is unable to walk or has difficulties walking
- PMA does not exceed 120cm in length and 70cm in width
