I used the eDegree EW3 on our last vacation to Paris, and oh boy, it was an experience! It handled all the cobblestone streets and uneven terrain like a charm. But what I didn’t realize at first was that it’s not as foldable as I’d like. Still worth it, though – 5 stars for the incredible performance!
Sophia Wong –
I rented out the eDegree EW3 for a family trip to Bali, and it performed wonderfully! The assist-handle was super useful when my grandma needed extra support. The high-end lithium battery lasted longer than expected, and we even got to explore beyond the 25km limit. The only thing that would make this product better is if it came with a more robust carrying case.
Calvin Ho –
Can anyone tell me more about the IP6X waterproof rating? I’d love to know more about the materials used and its durability against water exposure. How does it compare to other waterproof ratings?
Michelle Chong –
Thank you for reaching out to us, Calvin Ho. IP6X is a high level of waterproof rating that can protect the eDegree EW3 Electric Wheelchair from dust and water ingress. It’s a great feature that ensures the longevity of your chair. The IP6X rating means that the wheelchair can withstand powerful jets of water from all directions, making it perfect for outdoor use. Compared to other waterproof ratings, IP6X is one of the highest levels, with IPX0 being the lowest and IPX7-8 being more common for general outdoor use. Will the 360° LCD joystick controller make any difference while navigating stairs?
Lance Lee –
Thank you for sharing your thoughts about our eDegree EW3 Lightweight Travel Electric Wheelchair, Ng Hock Boon.
The 360° LCD joystick controller on the eDegree EW3 is designed for smooth maneuverability, providing the user with precise control over the wheelchair’s movement.
However, we would not recommend using the eDegree EW3 on stairs as it is not designed to be used on inclines.

For navigating stairs with an electric wheelchair, we suggest considering a model specifically designed for indoor and outdoor terrain including stairs,
